It is by far the least likely to slip. In fact in takes a major effort force to make it slide at all.All of these are about the same size (UberChef 1" longer, and 1/2" wider), but the UberChef is a tiny bit thicker and feels more cushiony for sure. Easier on the feet. This is perfect mat.It cost about $5 more but worth it for sure!Very few 6 star items of the hundreds our family purchased from Amazon, this is one of them. When it got here I placed it in front of the sink and that night when I did the dishes I did them bare foot and my back didn't hurt like normal. Within a few days I just had to get another to put in front of the cook top.There is only 1 con that I ran into. I moved my mat in front of the cook top and some of the splatter from the steaks burned the mat. I don't think it would last long if I had left it there so I moved it to the prep area and I love it.
