I didn't know what it was and I didn't feel comfortable gifting it as intended. I went back and looked at the straws yesterday and two of them now have white growth on them and it is spreading. Must be a mold? Gross. And unfortunately this item cannot be returned so I paid for a spoiled, inedible, product that arrived with the growth already present.
