Do not last
These are nice bright bulbs, while they last. These were purchased and installed in Sept 2017. In Apr 2018 one of them started blinking. I could tap on it and it would stop blinking, for a few minutes or hours or even a day, but inevitably would start blinking again. Highly annoying. Wife and family all wanted them gone. Then, just a day ago, another one made a loud popping sound and went out completely. The circuit in the base of the bulb had clearly overheated and failed. These are used in a dinning room ceiling fan fixture. They are mounted base up in open glass globes. I do not think that they can handle this type of usage. I am trying another kind.

Bulb failed at less than 5% of its predicted lifespan
These bulbs were rated for 30,000 hours. One of my bulbs has burned out after two years of use. This bulb was used in my powder room. The light is not left on in the room. Even if I conceded two hours of usage each day (which is not the case) for two years, that's just 1,500 hours of use. That's just 5% of it's promised life.I can't find any means to contact the company to ask for a replacement, so I don't suggest the company or its products. Basically, I should only have to replace the bulbs in this fixture about twice in my lifetime. That would be ideal as it is very awkward to do! It's not so much the cost, it's the hassle and risk of breaking the glass cylinders of the fixture.

Terrific E12 base LED bulbs
Love these bulbs. We have been slowly switching to LED bulbs, and my daughter needed some new bulbs for her desk lamp where one bulb was burnt out but the other OK. I gave her one new bulb and she liked it so much she took out the other working bulb and screwed a second one of these in. She says the bulbs are "fantastic" and its like she has a "new, sunny window." The bulbs I bought are soft white, which give a warm tone to the light that is emitted. The bulbs have a very solid feel to them, and were packed well for shipping, so I feel confident they will all arrive in perfect working order. They also look super cool, in case you care about things like that.

A true replacement for 60W incandescent
The ceiling fan in my home office has two E12 ("candelabra" size) sockets. They're rated for 40W bulbs, but two 40W incandescent bulbs didn't light the room sufficiently. Since the 40W rating is power consumption (and somewhat of a heat) limit and not a light output limit, I figured I could replace the 40W (300-400 lumens) incandescents with LEDs that would give me more light while still remaining safe for the appliance. I tried several of the "corn cob" style bulbs but they were all either too fat for the tight-fitting glass shade that surrounds the bulbs, or were small enough for the job but did not put out the level of light that they advertised. These LEDs fit the lamp and give me a VERY bright room.

When on the bulbs produce interference on TV channel 4
Two problems: first, larger than incondesent bulb requiring that I had to modify the light fixture in order to make sufficient room. Second, when on the bulbs produce interference on TV channel 4.

Cheap build and not dependable, great bright light while working though
One of the three began pulsing rather than staying on solid after 4 months of use. When I unscrewed the bulb, the base came detached from the bulb. I was able to place back on and crimp it to stay with pliers, but it still blinks when powered. When working these put off nice bright light and I was pleased with them until the failure. If they lasted longer I would give 5 stars as long as you don't try to remove them after installing they work great (with the exception of the one that began blinking).

... brighten up our living room and first tried a cool white LED -- the light emitted was not acceptable ...
We needed to brighten up our living room and first tried a cool white LED -- the light emitted was not acceptable for a living room. We then tried the warm white light which was much better. One of the three bulbs that was sent was slightly loose, but it worked. I probably should have returned the defective led bulb, but it works well and decided to forgo the pain of returning the bulb and waiting for a replacement.Overall, we are happy with this LED bulb.

Bright but flimsy
While they are bright and look nice, they are cheaply made. You cannot unscrew them after screwing them in, because the bottom part simple breaks off inside the socket. I have 6 of these and 3 broke while I was screwing them in!
