And it's bulkier than this. I washed it in the washing machine, cold water delicate, some soap, no other additives, ie, bleach. Then tumble dry, cool setting. Came out fine. If your washer is not big enough.....laundromat. This one here, has separate pockets for the "beads" and will do ok. **Q: Are there ties in the corners of the blanket to attach to a duvet?** A: No. There are not any ties. It came in a blue zip up suitcase type bag but wasn’t in a sealed plastic type packaging so I was concerned if it was used. As I ordered new. It smelled clean, no odor & the color good as shown in the pic. The blanket is thin, beautiful, nice texture & warm, wonderful & heavy like I needed it. I’ve been able to sleep well with it. It slides off me with the other blankets under so I’m trying to figure out if it’s best not to use other blankets, or place them on top. We have cold winters so I like the extra.
