Review: Great Comfort to Toddler Mattress - Most toddler mattress have a plastic coating although convenient for a potty training toddler I can only imagine how uncomfortably cold it is sleeping on one in winter. Although I use an organic cotton fltted sheet it seemed like my little one just wasn't comfortable and after reading so many reviews it seems like it's a common problem with toddler beds so I wanted to find a more comfortable solution. I love and appreciate that this cover is 100% cotton. It provides a great amount of padding, it's soft, not thin and has some good weight. My son seems to be sleeping better now. I do believe it helps to keep the bed warmer. He doesn't sleep directly on the pad, I do use a fitted sheet over and it fits well. I washed it before use on gentle and I let it air dry.

The idea of using a mattress protector with layers of plastic made me uncomfortable, so I'm glad I found this. It is a bit pricey, but I felt like it was worth it for the peace of mind it gives me. Very snug fit, but not terribly difficult to put on the mattress. Kiddo isn't here yet, so I don't know how well it will work, but it's very soft, cozy, and thick, so I have confidence it will do the job. Washed easy and dried over night on our drying rack.
