Awesome for $8
I bought this loupe to better inspect my trading cards. I am currently collecting Pokemon cards, and wanted to add another level of inspection, and fun to collecting. I plan on grading my cards some day, so in order to see some surface damage, or silvering around the edges, using a tool like a loupe seems to come in handy. This loupe has 3 different magnifications. The large glass is 30x, medium is 60x, and the smallest is 90x.It also has 3 lights. An LED for the 60x, 90x, and a UV light. You can use any of these lights by flicking a switch and all 3 work great with the larger 30xThe light turns on when you pull out the magnifying glass mechanism. In order to keep the light off, you just pull out the glass half way. This works fine, and I don't have any issues with it.My gripes with this tool is, the 90x is very difficult to use. The 30x is awesome, images are clean and clear. The 60x I use seldomly. The 90x is basically useless, at least for what I am using it for. This comes with a cloth and batteries already inside the loupe.Verdict: I had a tough time deciding if this was a 4 star or 5 star. I want to lean towards 4 star due to considering rather or not I should have just bought a more atypical loupe with a large eye piece, considering I don't use the 60x and 90x. But I love the 2 LEDS, and UV light. The best part is, its $8 buck therefore I'm going to give it a 5 star based off that.

Love this for vintage jewelry and more!
I’ve had it for several months. I sell vintage jewelry online. I bought this because I had a traditional jeweler’s loop and I would struggle to get good lighting on the objects because I had to get so close to use the loop. The light is awesome, and I love that I have lighting options. Same goes for the different magnifications. This is now my go-to magnifier! I now use it for reading small labels and fine print. The slide out makes it easy to handle and keeps the glasses clean and scratch free.

The older I get, the more I need it.
The older I get, the more I need a product like this. I love that it fits nicely into my purse or pocket. I can't tell you how many times I have reached for it when I am shopping. Especially when flea market picking.

Great for the price! But with minor issues.
Great for the price, but does have some issues that you should be aware of. As another viewer mentioned, the 30x magnifier is a good size but the 60x and 90x are tiny. Also, because you have to get the object very, very close to the 60x and 90x lenses in order for the lenses to be usable, the fact that these lenses are on the same surface as the 30x make them difficult to use with curved pieces of jewelry. There is no way to maneuver the lenses up close to interior curves of (for instance) earring hoops, where many karat stamps and maker's marks are ,located.Again, for the price, it's a great tool. I like the fact that the lenses slip into and out of a holder, so you can carry the magnifier in your pocket or purse without worrying about the lens getting scratched. I also love being able to have the bright LED light on or off, plus a black light. Very handy! The entire tool is small and easy to carry to an estate sale or shop. I will be keeping it in my purse.

Product works well, but batteries leak.
I've used this for a few years now and the loupe works well. Beware the cell batteries it comes with though - the LR44 button batteries have begun to leak and corrode the contacts. They are relatively cheap and easily replaced, but considering I've only had the product a couple years this is disappointing. Cell batteries should last a long time, I've never seen any corrode this quickly.

Does what I need it to do.
I've had manu loupes with the little hinges that broke after a few months. I purchased this loupe because it doesn't have hinges. As other reviews said, the 60x and 90x lenses are too small to see unless you hold the loupe really far away and when you hold it far away, the item you're looking at appears upside down; if the loupe is close the item appears right side up.There's no button to turn the lights off but if you don't slide it all the way up, the lights won't go on. The lights are REALLY bright when looking through the loupe; they reflect off the metal. The loupe is a a little smaller than a pack of cigarettes, which I like because that makes it a lot easier to hold than small, hinged loupes but still small enough to carry around. All in all, this loupe does what I need it to do. Great purchase as long as you know exactly what you're getting.

Professional Alternative Style
Bought a 10x similar version to this before and wanted something more powerful. So I bought this 30x and honestly, I do not see a difference in the magnification. I sell jewelry at work, and up this many times a day, opening and closing it, taking it out of its sleeve, looking through it, light on and off. So far it's holding up great. It's a cool professional variation of a loupe that I feel is easier to hold onto and handle. Customers compliment it regularly.

Updated Review: Complete waste of money
Completely uselessUpdate: Once I figured out how to use it, the 30X lens worked for me, and was a big help to me.The small lenses are too small for me. So I'm changing the one star to four.Apologies to the company that sold this to me for my initial negative review.
