These are not magnetic drives and will not adapt to flow reduction like a brew (aka Riptide) pump. Keep an eye on the heat generated (run in cooler or 5 gal bucket) w/return flow and take water temps over an hour or two. Just restricting the flow will NOT push farther but may make it overheat, use more amps, and then burnout (see user pics of fried extension cords) **Q: What is the pipe thread size of the discharge side of the pump?** A: It’s actually 0.75 inch thread. I just measured. **Q: What is the thread size that the outlet nozzles screw into? I want to screw a threaded pvc fitting into the pump and need the female thread size.** A: It is a 1/2" thread, not 3/4". **Q: Does this have auto shut off?** A: Auto shutoff for what purpose? Two possibilities would be: A timer would switch it ff and on at prearranged times.
