One has a crab toy attached to it and the other a woodpecker. There's a Velcro loop on the top of each book so that it can be hooked onto a stroller handle or diaper bag. There is also a Velcro closure on the book itself.There isn't really a story in these books but pages with different sayings like "how interesting the treehouse is" and "hello, anyone there." No baby I know will understand the words but the holes and flap and toys and crinkle of the books should keep a baby interested.I would supervise when these are in use since I do feel the toys can be pulled apart by a child who is strong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ nice *by Z***Ü on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on 19 December 2021* This duo of baby books is great: both books are soft, brightly colored and have interactive elements. The storylines are very simple, and you can easily expand them or make up your own based on what you see in the pictures.The pages have cutouts for the character to peek through, and each cutout shape is different. They are different, but definitely bright colors and interesting textures for little ones to play with. I got these for my grand-niece who is a newborn so it will be a few months before I can tell what a success they are. Still there is lots of stimulation here and a simple story to read. Not sure about some of the words for new readers - perhaps instead of "the flowers are fragrant" a small child may find it easier to read smaller words like "the flowers smell nice."
