Whatever wasn't intuitive (like the placement of the slides) was explained in the instructions. Granted, if you've never taken apart your dryer, the instructions are a bit lacking. I am becoming somewhat of a seasoned pro, so that was not a problem. If need be, there are YouTube videos galore to explore.1) The belt was a perfect fit. This part will be difficult for a lot of men. My arm is skinny, so I fit in that area without a problem. You have to get your arm in and pull down on a wheel to attach the belt. This takes a little muscle and you have to do it by feel, but I've done it a few times and now I know just the angle I need my arm to get enough strength to push down that wheel.2) I don't know what that big plastic piece is called, but it was easy to get off and not as easy to snap on. I'm glad I replaced it, though, because what I had was brittle and falling apart. Once I finally figured it out, putting that plastic thing on was easy. It's not easy to explain in words, but there are tabs at the end of each side that you have to push in. It doesn't look like they both can fit, but the plastic wraps the metal. That's the only way to get it on. I know, it's really hard to describe in words. Maybe just look carefully at the piece you are removing so you can figure out how to replace it.3) The slides are the easiet part, but you have to make sure the dark ones are on top. I had to go back and undo my workto flip one of the dark slides over. Apparently, they do have a preferred side. If your dryer makes weird sounds after you're finish, try flipping over the slides.I did two loads of laundry to test my repair. That burning rubber smell is no longer. The dryer works.
