Like Gordon Ramsay said "Let the knife do the work", this knife will literally work for you. Holds an edge. Excellent value.In theory not dishwasher proof however these handles wrap fully around the tang so you could but the edge would probably fade and you might get the odd rust spot (I have an old Sabatier chef's knife of the same steel that goes through the machine and has the odd spot.)
