This is my first pair, advertised as "High profile" (high arch support), and they don't touch the arch of my foot anywhere other than the very outside edge of my foot. The only part of my foot bearing weight is my heel and pad of my for foot. I have always know I have high arches but I must really be a freak of nature. I have found arch supports that do provide support to my feet but it hasn't been easy. I hope the insulation and reflective materiel on these do what it claims otherwise I just wasted $60. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than Spenco *by B***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2019* I bought Spenco padded inserts because they were more cushy in my old ski boots. But they took up too much room - I tried cutting the toe off the pad so my toes would have wiggle room to stay warm. That was either the problem or the pads just didn't work because after a day of skiing my feet were sore. (I've skied many days before in my old boots without issue - so it was most likely the missing toe part of the insole.)Decided to do it right and get Smartfeet. They are more compact but so far so good. Not sure how they do it, because I don't feel much cushion. After a day of skiing, my feet aren't sore.Can't quite tell if the boots are warmer. I always rely upon neoprene boot covers - best purchase ever for staying warm. Between the new Smartfeet and the covers, I have no issues staying warm. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best fit for ski boot *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2019* I bought this for a ski boot.Like: buying a size smaller and that it is narrower meant I did not have to cut it to size. Just slip it in. The arch support helped tremendously. Seriously I never thought arch support was so essential in ski boots since I never had this problem in my usual shoes.Dislike: actually nothing.
