A: Each thermometer has an internal battery, that requires activation when in use. From the start of the activation (pulling tab for battery source), the thermometer is estimated to last up to 8 continuous days.

**Q: Can this send an audible alarm if the temperature exceeds a certain temperature?**
A: The app will alarm (based on sound user has selected on their phone). The sensor does not sound an audible alarm.

**Q: Is the battery rechargeable or replaceable?**
A: No. Once the battery activation strip is removed, the thermometer will last up to 8 continuous days. The internal battery cannot be replaced or recharged.
