There is a factory nut that you need to remove to pull your old antenna mast out. When you install our antenna mast you would just install this nut lastly and it will hold our mast into the power unit. If you need further assistance please call us.

**Q: Hey i order the power antenna conversion kit for a 97 nissan maxima and was wondering if anyone had any installation instructions ?**
A: Hello, 

1) Simply remove the exterior mounting nut and pull the factory power antenna mast out of the power unit. 
2) Install our conversion sleeve in its place. 
3) Install the exterior mounting nut. 
4) Thread our 6 3/4" antenna into our conversion sleeve.
