The cover feels very strong and it has nice brass fittings. I followed the manufacturer's instructions on pre-stretching the hose before use, and found the following performance problems:When you hook the hose up to a supply and turn on the water, it expands to it's full length. However, when you turn on your nozzle it immediately begins to shrink back to about 10 feet length and the output stream at the nozzle diminishes appreciably; In my estimate the stream is about 30 feet max. It appears that the only way you can stretch the hose to 25 feet (and I don't think this is possible), it to manually pull it away from the facuet with lots of muscle applied. Of course this is unwise as it would probably damage the fittings and hose, not to mention arm fatigue on the user.To be fair, I hooked this hose up to two different faucets, each about 50 feet away from each other. There was no change in the hose performance between these two locations: weak stream and shrinking back to half its advertised length. After this, I installed my pressure guage on each of the faucets and found the pressure to be 47 PSI, slightly above average for a house. In addition, I have two 50 foot Pocket Hoses, both of which when hooked up to the same faucets expanded to their full fifty foot length and produced a strong stream with only about two feet shrinkage back toward the faucet with the nozzle open to its maximum amount.You would never be able to use this on a lawn sprinkler because it would shrink and drag the sprinkler away from its intended target area, not to mention the weak stream.I think the manufacturer made this one a little too stiff. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Quality, SMOOTH & MORE Compact once shrunk dry. *by A***B on Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2017* REALLY NICE shrinking hose - it really becomes much shorter / compact than the other 3 brand hoses I've tried. AND it shrinks into a neat looking, smooth round tube shape, unlike the others which look all zigzag sloppy once returning to dry shape. It really feels like a durable, top quality hose.Update - the hose eventually burst. This type of hose Works great for short term use but isn’t designed to last long. I gave up on these kind of hoses- but the bullet and bought a beautiful cast iron wall mounted hose reel and went with a real 5/8” rubber hose. Best decision ever because washing watering are now a pleasure. ### ⭐⭐ This product review is actually for an expandable hose *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020* Not sure why the item description is for bluetooth headphones. This is actually a 2pk of expandable hoses. I gave it a 2 star review, one hose is fine, the other right off the bat, leaked horribly and I ended up throwing it away. The sprayer, well, that was just an add on.
