My biggest concern was weather or not water would still be able to flow down for my water filtration/softener when it purges at a high rate. I can absolutely say that it drains perfectly without any issues. I needed something that would alow for the drainage while blocking odors from the basement drain. This was absolutely the remedy. Any odor that I might have had in the past has been 100% eliminated. It's fits perfectly, out of sight, and for a very reasonable cost.
