They worked fine, but I always felt like I was paying too much for too little benefit. They left a residue of "moisturizers" or were too hard to rinse away cleanly without leaving my skin dry. Way too much effort for something as simple as washing my face.After some research, I decided to go with something simple. This was the ticket.The moment it lathered on my face I knew I picked the right one. The scent is so gentle and pleasant, the lather is luscious but not thick. It rinses off super easily and my skin feels so perfectly clean. After drying, I apply my serums and a moisturizer... but once in awhile I get distracted and have to go take care of something and forget to do my post-wash regimen. I've even gotten to the office and thought "oh no! I didn't serum/moisturize!!!" You know what? My skin was still soft. It didn't feel dry or tight. It just felt... clean and soft. Not that this replaces the entire skin care regimen, but it's such a perfect start!Friends who stay over know I take care of my skin and will ask for some facial soap before bed. Everyone, and I mean *everyone* raves about this stuff! It removes makeup, moisturizes skin, and doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin. It foams well too. The only problem is the pump. My first purchase was ok. The 2nd one, though, the pump was totally dead and I couldn't use it, so I had to transfer the contents to the first bottle in order to use it. I want to get the 3rd bottle, but if the pump doesn't work again, I don't know... It doesn't have a cap so if the pump doesn't work, it is very hard to use.
