African American, very kinky/tightly curled hair. This product is more of a gel consistency but in my opinion didn’t provide very much “moisture” or locking in of moisture because his hair is so dry. So I added vitamin e oil to his roots and end of his hair. It makes it much more softer, easier to twist and didn’t have a bad mix reaction with the Cantu.
