A: The Bondo product is far superior in every way stronger,harder,and less shrinkage. I have used both.

A: Gorilla Wood Filler can be painted and stained. It works with both latex and oil-based paints and stains. Multiple coats may be needed to ensure color match. **Q: Can this be used for particleboard furniture?**
A: Not good with laminated particle board, used and after sanding and painting it showed crack within a week

**Q: Does this wood filler work well with compressed wood cabinets that are starting to crumble at the edges?**
A: It fills holes nicely, stays put, and dries to make a hard surface that requires sanding. I don’t think it would work to reform edges, and I’d also be concerned about the sanding because of the compressed wood. I think I’d try to find a different solution.

I had some chair legs that were pretty chewed up from our puppy, and now that the chaos phase is over, I finally decided to fix them and I’m so glad I used this. It was super easy to apply and actually let me rebuild the damaged sections of the legs. The texture is thick, almost like wet sand, which made it easy to shape and work with. It’s a good product overall, but it comes a bit dry. It’s barely moist, so using it on vertical surfaces—like hung cabinet doors—takes extra effort to apply because it tends to fall off. It works much better on horizontal surfaces. I do wish it were a bit wetter for easier application, but once it dries, it performs really well. It sands nicely, feels like real wood, and gives you plenty of working time. I like the product, and the container is large enough to last a long time. Hopefully, it won’t dry out completely over time. No odor, color is great.
