Open it up slid this on the yarn holder and feed the yarn through then close the yarn holder . Yarn flows through the top and down through tensioner . Review: This little Addi tensioner seems to work fine… - It’s tiny! The size of this little guy is at 2 inches by maybe 7/8 of an inch, see photo. It fits in the slot nicely. As you can see in the video it holds the yarn well while working on the addi knitting machine. I’m not sure how strong it will be when a new skien of yarn is being used (they are tight in the beginning of a new skien). Seems a bit fragile in a way… time will tell how it preforms long term. Two came in the little box, pictured. There’s no instructions as to how to use it or which slot is for tight or loose tension. I guess it’s trial and error, learn on your own on how to use it. It actually came a day early and was delivered in a small package (as expected). It’s made in china. Sure wish I could have found one made in the states.
