FyrFlyz Light Up Toy 2-Pack

My almost 4-year-old son saw a commercial for these and asked for them (he doesn't ask for much, so, for the price, I figured, "What the heck!?"). Well, these are cool, and we've had some fun playing around with them. My husband and I actually give 'em a spin (pun intended) too after our son goes to bed. I don't think it would hold a child's interest for long (say, beyond 15 min or so at a clip), but it is one of those things you whip out every now and then to fool around with. A simple, but neat, concept. They seem to be made well, too(and the lights are nice and bright). Would make a nice stocking stuffer or anytime gift for the nieces, nephews, or grandkids.

This item came as one Fyrfly. It was not a two pack. In addition to it not being what was advertised, one side didn't work. It had obviously been in a store, as it had a price sticker that had been removed. But I was really sad for my daughter who asked for this as a birthday gift. I tried a new battery and while it WOULD light up if pressed into place, it wouldn’t stay lit. I returned it.

This toy is simply amazing. The lights were bright and easy to see. We had lots of fun with this. I chose not to give the 5 stars. but 4, because of a problem with the battery. The batteries were new, but there is a little Styrofoam dot on the battery lids, which applied pressure for the batteries to work. For mine, the pad was very thin and one of the lights didn't work. I had to put pieces of thick paper for it to work, which took a long time. After fixing it, it worked great. I recommend this product, but make sure to put some paper on top of the battery, if the same problem as mine occurs.

Very flimsy... broke in 10 minutes even with supervised play. Older models were much better!

Sons loved it in the begining; last interest after a week. made more for younger children (6-8) rather than older boys

This is a little trinket that is very enjoyable for kids of all ages. Great for the 4th of July too! Best for kids 7 or 8 and up. (Younger kids would enjoy watching it, but their arms wouldn't be long enough to do it.) But even my high schooler got a kick out of playing around with it. A really fun toy.

I bought two of these for my two nephews, ages 8 and 12, after reading that it rated #1 in a kid tested "must have toys for 2011" article. The kids loved them, but one of them had a light out after opening, so I am returning it to Amazon, but purchasing another one to replace it. If it wasn't for a light being out I would give it 5 stars instead of 4.

When ever my 3 year old was asked what he wanted for Christmas he would always just say "glow stuff" so when I saw these I bought some for stocking stuffers. They work as advertised and are made well enough I guess. A good way to kill 3 minutes every once and a while I guess.

Arrived OK. One battery flat on unpacking. Unusual size battery. Spins ,lights up not much else. Foreign language instructions. No English. What I expected for the price. Would not recommend or buy again.

The price was excellent and the children had a lot of fun with them.

I brought these to go as stocking fillers, the kids loved them, even I had a go and they are good, had a couple of people ask where I got them from as they too thought they were brilliant and that they reminded them of a toy you could get years ago but had two like handles at either end that you pulled quite tightly for the big plastic circle light to light up!
