I was disappointed with the design of this ricer/masher. None of the pictures showed the masher part being detachable from the handle. That made for some unfortunate accidents of the long handle falling down and hitting my face numerous times. Glad it always missed my eyeglasses. Will be returning it. Was unable to use.

I cook quite often and many recipes called for a ricer- I always made dueuntil this purchase. Now potatoes andsweet potatoes are riced. I just made an egg salad sandwich. Wow! Now I know why the restaurants charge $10.00 for a simple egg sandwich! Light texture . . .

Very easy to use simple, 2 seconds into a potatoes mud, pressure is very neat, stainless steel is very strong, but also want to buy this brand of garlic press.
