Not the plastic licorice like Twizzlers (although I will eat it happily) but the real thing, strong, dark and chewy. And Wallaby licorice is my favorite. I live in Central America and nobody has ever heard of it so I buy it to stash away and nibble when I can. My experience is that this brand is always fresh, soft, and delicous. I haven't tried other flavors because I'm a purist.
