You can bolt all three on, or two, or one. When I have to go through really compacted soil, I bolt on only one and make multiple swipes with it. A digging fork like the Tru Temper Spading Fork is also handy, I have one of them too. I also bought one of those loop hoes for the Hoss, the narrow one, which comes in really handy. I looked at the 2-wheel version, but really my single wheel works just fine. Buy the one with the pistol grips, not the plow grips. Mine were raw wood. I rubbed a couple coats of boiled linseed oil on the wood handles and let it cure for a week before you assemble it. **Q: Does this come with the attachments mentioned (turning plow, 3 sizes of oscillating hoes), or are they purchased separately?** A: Seperatly **Q: How deep can you get with the cultivator?** A: The deeper it goes the harder it is to push. I use it to break up 2 or 3 inches deep. The finish and quality of the product is beautiful and better than a cheap wheel made of pot metal that you will see in your local garden center. If you are planning on purchasing this tool, make sure you that your farm/garden area is tilled/worked very fine. If there are large clumps and rough ground the hoe will have a harder time going through (obviously because it's a human powered farm implement).
