It has worked well and recorded CO levels as low as 11ppm, though without seeing of the alarm because the level didn't last long enough. I suspect my oven as the source of CO because my heaters runs for weeks without registering anything above the minimum 10ppm. I rated this product 4 stars solely because Kiddie states it includes batteries but they only provide 2 batteries when it requires 3 batteries.
