Review: Love this journal - This is such a great journal. The prompts are great and give me ideas on what to say about my child, but aren’t too hard to answer. I love that there’s extra space so that I can add other thoughts that the prompts don’t cover. I’ve had this journal for over a year now (bought it while pregnant and my baby is now 13 months!) and I still love it. I will say, it can be a bit time consuming for that first year of life since there’s a section for every month, but I love it. It probably took me 1-2 hours each month to fill it out, but I do like to write a lot. Just saying, if you’re looking for a super quick and easy baby book, this probably isn’t the one for you. I’m so excited to have this book grow with my child. I can definitely handle 1-2 hours per year to journal for them. I wish I journaled more but I just don’t , so this is fantastic for catching those summaries. I just bought a second one for my baby on the way.
Review: Great keepsake - Have these for each of my children. Bring to hospital to take them out a newborn foot print in. I like how it prompts specific info based on age but also leaves room for adding what you want!! Definitely not overwhelming for a busy mom to complete, great keepsake for child memories!

**Q: What sort of archival pen and photo adhesive do you recommend for this book? The pages are thin and I'm worried about it showing-through to other side**
A: I use archival quality pens from the crafting store.  The pigment is very thick and dark, but does not bleed through to the next page.  Scrapbooking area of the store is where you'll find them.  The paper in the journal is great quality!  As for photos, use an acid-free glue stick or glue dots meant for scrapbooking.

**Q: Does the pregnancy section go by weeks? How in-depth is it?**
A: Hello, thanks for the great question! The Pregnancy section of our Childhood History Journals are divided by trimester. The prompts in each section are designed to help you capture the most meaningful moments of your pregnancy.

There is not a Daddy section, per se – our prompts are mainly concentrated on the child. However, below are the few examples of prompts we include about spouses:
"What is your relationship like with your child? What is your spouse's relationship like with your child?"
"What does your toddler call you? What does your toddler call your spouse?".
"What traits does your teen get from you? What traits does your teen get from your spouse?"

A: Yes -it has monthly pages for pregnancy, then monthly for the first year, and after that it switches to yearly.

This is a great option for a keepsake book. It has questions about my baby each month that I will want to remember as well as plenty of space for special moments/thoughts to write in. There is also a page for pictures, I use my Polaroid. Thus book is pretty, simple and I like that it’s hard covered. I’ve purchased it 3 times, I would definitely recommend.
