I have been using this for the past 15 days. It takes nearly 4 mins to boil 1.7 liters of water. It has auto cut off, dry boil and overheating protection, also has a cool touch body.The main advantage is it is 100% stainless steel inside, no plastic in contact which is what I was looking for.Also it is easy to clean.The only con I would feel is, the base plate is a bit of cheap quality. Other than that it is a perfect product and it does its job properly.

Very nice product. It's design is good, auto cut off feature is very useful. As it is powered by 1900 watts, the plug fits in big plug boards only like the ones we use for fridge, air conditioner and wet grinders. Overall good product.

I had ordered few months back for my house which I have recieved in good condition and performance was good. So I ordered one more for my flat, but recieved in dent condition (as attached in the photo).As Vgurad is reputed company, they can't let quality lapses and required to ensure quality and physical condition of product before dispatch.I had requested amazon for replacement. Hopefullyin a week time I should get replacement.

Received a good looking kettle nicely packed on time. while trying to use it it gets off in a few seconds time. Thinking that V guard will give a better quality than the Chinese brands paid so much for a kettle though less than 1000 rs there are many brands available in the market. water just warms but does not boil. and then it gets off. I took the trouble of taking it to the Authorized V guard service centre . They kept it for a day and called me today to say that product is defective, and they have to get some parts to service it, As the product was within the return time I din't want to do it. I asked them for a replacement, which they refused.so it was a double whammy. I asked them to give it in writing , what has to be replaced, which they would not. So I initiated Amazon return of the product.Very disappointing.:(
