## Overview

The 6 Pin 12mm LED Strip to Wire Connector is a solderless, easy-to-use adapter designed for 12mm 5050 RGB+CCT LED strips. Supporting 5V, 12V, and 24V inputs, it fits both waterproof and non-waterproof strips and 22 AWG 6-conductor wires. Its tin-plated copper core and clear PVC cover provide a durable, reliable connection, enabling flexible, professional-grade lighting extensions without the hassle of soldering or wire stripping.

## Description

These 6-pin strip to wire connectors are solution for 12mm 5050 RGBWW LED strip lights connection and extension needs, DIY extention for whatever the cable length you want to connect. NOTE: 1. Make sure your LED light strip is 12mm width RGBWW strip lights with 6 Soldering Pads. Not work for 8mm or 10mm width led light strips. Installation tips: Strip End: 1. Cut the strip straight perfectly, then fully open the clip. 2. Insert the light strip, align the 6 Soldering Pads of the light-emitting surface of the light with the 6-pins on the connector. Then press down the transparent cover. (Note: No need to peel off the silicone on the surface of led light strip when you want to connect WATERPROOF LED strip.) Wire End: 1.Cut the desired wire length you need and separated the 6 wires around connection part. 2. Insert wires into the connector guide slot, make sure that positive and negative on the strip light surface are corresponding to the wires. 3.Close the transparent cap with a pliers and press down hard for several times. Ensure the metal joint pierces through the wire insulation as there are so many non-standard wires on the market! 4. reminder: no stripping of the wires. Review: 100% success rate using these connectors. On the LED side I did remove the silicone coating down to the copper pads and used pliers to close the connection. On the wire side I used 6 conductor wire (ASIN : B07T6LCZKJ) and just had to separate the wires a bit, line up, push in, and again use pliers to close the connector. https://www.desertcart.com/gp/product/B07T6LCZKJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The only issue I had with these connectors is some of them were already snapped closed when they arrived requiring a thin screwdriver between the body and connector piece with quite a bit of force to reopen. None of them broke doing this and snapped back closed just fine. One other small issue, not with the connectors as such, was that the LED strip I was using came with pre soldered wire ends that did not match the wire (above) exactly as I expected. The LED strip has both cool white and warm with the pre soldered yellow wire for cool and white wire for warm, backwards from what I would expect. Using these connectors and wire (above) warm white is powered by the yellow and cool with the white wire. It is possible to cross the yellow and white with this connector or better yet cut off the factory wires and use these for all connections.
