I finally decided to put down the money and get one and trust me, you already know without even using one that it's so much faster than crimping by hand. Well worth the money spent. They work a little better once they start to break in. In the beginning it almost over crimps but I'm not complaining. It's fantastic especially if you have arthritis or hands that are over 45 years old LOL.

- IMPACT DRIVER ONLY, NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STANDARD DRILLS: The C5A2 is designed exclusively for impact drivers. It will not work with a standard cordless drill or drill/driver. Requires a minimum 12V DC cordless or maximum 7 amp AC corded impact driver with a 1/4-inch quick-release hex chuck. If you have a standard impact driver already on your belt this chucks straight in and works immediately.
- CRIMPS 30–24 GAUGE ROUND DUCT, SPIRAL DUCT & BLACK STOVE PIPE WITH NO ADJUSTMENT BETWEEN SIZES: The C5A2 handles 30 to 24-gauge (0.41–0.71 mm) galvanized steel round duct and 30 to 24-gauge (0.31–0.61 mm) cold rolled black stove pipe (including spiral duct) without changing settings between sizes. Walk the crimper around the pipe circumference in a controlled motion and you're done. Multiple sizes, types, and thicknesses, one attachment, zero setup.
- SOLID BLOCK CONSTRUCTION WITH HARDENED STEEL DRIVE SHAFT — COMPACT ENOUGH FOR A TOOL POUCH: Durable solid block body, hardened steel drive shaft, and smooth working mechanisms built for the rotational forces of an impact driver. Easy to balance while crimping in any position; overhead, on the ground, or working a collar in a tight mechanical room. When you're done, it fits in a standard tool pouch or bag without taking up dedicated space. Replacement drive shaft available separately (SKU: C5A2RD).

I finally decided to put down the money and get one and trust me, you already know without even using one that it's so much faster than crimping by hand. Well worth the money spent. Working good, but no long . Used 3 days for crimping 30 GA pipes 10", 8" and 6" . Used with dewalt impact driver . I need it to work right now, but it's broken. Now need replacement drive shift and wait then it comes. if this repeats, I will constantly look for a replacement from another manufacturer or buy another model .every 3 days to buy new replacement drive shift too expensive.
