Previously without any protection (they only have cloth aprons) he constantly came home soaked and wet feet. I combined these with some good boots (previously reviewed) and a lesson in adjusting the apron properly and now he is a happy, much less wet camper. Work is so much easier for him now. They are wide enough to wrap his medium frame and are comfortable for extended wear in a kitchen. I will be ordering me a pair for use around the house.
