Also it’s super easy to set up, and it’s keeps everyone entertained all summer long. That said, after a while I noticed the blue behind the plexiglass backboard starting to peel and the plexiglass started to pull away from the white plastic as well as rust forming on the rim. I reached out to the company, and after going back and forth a few times, they agreed to send me a replacement backboard and rim. I really appreciate that they are going to stand behind their product and make it right. They also mentioned that as of summer 2024, they’ve improved the rim so it better withstands pool chemicals, UV exposure, and should last much longer — which is great to hear. The price is a little on the higher side, but it’s a really good-looking hoop that fits perfectly beside the pool and adds a nice touch to the backyard. We’ve barely used it, the kids have taken maybe a dozen shots as it’s been rainy and not used much at all. Very disappointing for the price I paid, expected this to be very robust.
