I followed someone else's suggestion for cooking, I use 3 cups liquid to 1 cup groats, bring it to a boil and then simmer uncovered for an hour. They absorb all the liquid and have a nice soft, but still chewy texture. They arrived sealed nicely with no issues. I cooked with blueberries this last time and they came out delicious.

Really enjoy these groats. They can work for breakfast or savory as a sub for rice. I followed someone else's suggestion for cooking, I use 3 cups liquid to 1 cup groats, bring it to a boil and then simmer uncovered for an hour. They absorb all the liquid and have a nice soft, but still chewy texture. They arrived sealed nicely with no issues. I cooked with blueberries this last time and they came out delicious.
