I use it 2-4 times a day and it is cheap enough to throw the floss part away after one or two trips around the mouth.No manufacturer that I know of has had the decency to tell you how to use them correctly so here goes my gift to civilization... a reasonable set of basic directions(feel free to add to them as you see fit. They are not engraved in stone...maybe just hard rock). 1)don't forget to floss the back part of back teeth or teeth missing a tooth behind or in front of it. Put the floss behind the tooth in front of the space and pull GENTLY BUT FIRMLY forward while going up and down Gently but Firmly several times.Repeat pushing GENTLY but FIRMLY backward on the tooth behind the space. NO toothbrush can easily or hardly reach this area.The bristles just can't be manufactured to do so nicely. 2) place the floss between teeth that touch. If it is hard to do, GENTLY bite down on it.
