I like to use it for yogurt and fruit it stays nice and cool and air tight seal works so well I have also used it for pasta and there hasn't been any issue with it I use it for rice and really want to try it with soup I think that was the main purpose I got it for and it holds the liquid very well even in a child's lunch box that gets tossed around
