Review: Comparable to the 22771, worth a try - We have been buying (out of pocket) the Convatec 22771 for years for a member of the family. Figured we'd take a chance on bags at half the price and see what happens. These bags perform great. Wish they had a clear front so you can see placement better, but it's manageable. The curved clip is better IMHO. Not real sure the 'charcoal disc' does anything. The things that are better vs the Convatec are: the wax disc is a little thinner and thus melds to the abdomen better and moves way better. The adhesion ring is a little wider. Honestly, it seems like someone looked at the 22771 and said "how can we make this better and cost less?" and did it. Not too thrilled about the country of origin, but when you're paying out of pocket, dollars matter. Review: Works pretty good if you know how - I used to buy hollister from the drug store and pay $180.00 per 20 of them. Plus having to go to the Doctor to get a script for them. For the most part they worked pretty good. Now saying that, when you have to pay that out of your pocket every month, well you get the picture. Now with these I can get about 90 of them for the same price. So this is what you do, where the seam is, run two inch tape all the way around it. Keeps it in place for up to 5 days. Then where the opening is, I don't use the fastner that they give me. I make my own, a lot easier to take off and on. I just roll the end up and put paper clip fastners, the clip kind.
