The reviews had me concerned about a horrible smell, hence me buying so early before Christmas, but the horn I received has no noticeable smell, the bag however, has a very strong earthy scent, it absolutely did not come from the horn itself; unless it was somehow completely transferred from horn to bag? So I aired it out for a week and the smell is gone. As these are handmade, there are a couple of tiny flaws. In one picture I show the inside of the horn, aside from the dust, to the left there are a series of small nicks, which I don't believe will not cause any issues if being used to drink from. The other picture shows two whitish inch-long lines, where it either missed getting polished, or something struck it and scraped the polish off. It is not visible if the horn is in the stand. Also, the stand doesn't really match the horn, but I'm fine with that. I'm highly tempted to buy one for myself as a display piece, it's definitely unique as no two are the same.
