I love the ruffles, the mermaid silhouette, the heavier material and how it feels as it brushes against my legs. Beware, though. As all the other reviews have noted, this skirt is VERY long (44"). I'm 5'5 with a 30" inseam and must pull the skirt nearly up to my bra or fold the waist over 2-3 inches. With that adjustment, I can wear my 3" stiletto heels or my 2" Victorian boots and the skirt will hit the top of my shoe and barely clear the floor. Tucking a shirt into the skirt might look ok with the folded over waist, but it looks great with a shirt or corset that goes over the skirt. It does run a little big and since it stretches, I would go with a size smaller than you might think you need. I bought both the medium and the small (I've got a 30" waist with 36" hips) and the small is about right (although I could almost do an extra small if they had it). Returned the medium and kept the small. Really gorgeous and fun! Oh!
