Quick Heat and WiFi Connectivity *by T***Y on November 4, 2025* I really like this Sunbeam Mattress Heating Pad, especially at the price point. I upgraded from an older Sunbeam pad to the Sunbeam Connected Restful Quilted. This heating pad heats up much quicker and warmer than my old one. I like to pre-heat the bed and there is a feature for that, but I have not tried that feature yet. Level 5 for 5-10 minutes is plenty so far. The WiFi connectivity is convenient and was the main reason for my purchase of this model. However, connecting the WiFi took some patience and many retries (Unplugging the controller from the wall outlet). You will want the Sunbeam Bedding S2 app, there are two different Apps, at least on iPhone. Choose Bluetooth during initial setup instead of AP Mode. AP Mode didn't function. Once the App is configured it is easy to connect with Alexa. I use Alexa to turn it on before bed and to set an off timer. I took a "star" off for a couple of odd things, not deal killers at all. The connector is at the foot and on top, I can feel it with my feet. If you turn off the blanket with the App you have to wait a period of time before you can turn it back on with the App. Most of the time this is not a problem, but was an initial concern while testing during App configuration.
