So, though I'll be ordering a lighter stain (Amazon does not do returns on stains), I'll be saving this one for another project. If you're using a softer wood (or mystery wood like I am) you may need to base your decision on the darker grains in the pictures.It truly has no chemical odor. I'm using this for a crib, so safety is top priority.
