I was really skeptical about it being smell proof but i gotta say compare to other containers i have this one contains the smell of any herb I've have even when it gets warm which my other containers do. You're not gonna store and ounce or even half and ounce of dry herb. I can put about 7grams only without packing. These containers are 100% aluminum construction so no worries about breaking it. Only thing i didn't like is they have a weird smell inside but luckily it didnt absorb into my herbs. Smell goes away after you put any flower inside then it just takes on that smell.
