Review: Makes draining easier! - I bought this for our Whytner ARC 14s to make draining easier. I thought the price a little steep but it does what it should. I've only drained my unit about 3 times since owning, about once a month, all of those times where I've asked, "I wonder how much water is in the unit?" About one of these buckets worth. I unscrew the thing covering the whole, put the bucket against the hole and lean the unit towards me. The water comes out and I carry it to the sink. I say it works well. Previously I used a sheet pan to put under the unit and collect whatever water came out. I suppose the bucket is easier than the sheet pan. Recommended!

I bought this for our Whytner ARC 14s to make draining easier. I thought the price a little steep but it does what it should. I've only drained my unit about 3 times since owning, about once a month, all of those times where I've asked, "I wonder how much water is in the unit?" About one of these buckets worth. I unscrew the thing covering the whole, put the bucket against the hole and lean the unit towards me. The water comes out and I carry it to the sink. I say it works well. Previously I used a sheet pan to put under the unit and collect whatever water came out. I suppose the bucket is easier than the sheet pan. Recommended!
