Composition of the preparation The main active substance of the drug Almagel Neo is an aluminum hydroxide gel. The preparation also contains magnesium hydroxide and simethicone - a substance that helps to reduce increased gas production in the intestine. Pharmacological properties of the preparation Suspension Almagel Neo is a combined remedy, whose action is aimed at reducing acidity in the stomach, protecting the mucous membranes of the digestive tract due to the enveloping effect, reducing the process of gassing in the intestine. Due to the composition of the suspension of magnesium, the drug has a weakly laxative effect and improves the cleaning ability of the intestine. Included in the preparation Simethicone binds gas bubbles in the intestines, relieves spasms due to flatulence, eliminates heartburn and eructations.
