Review: Very delicious and tender Albalone! - I was looking forward to finally trying Abalone, the exorbitant price of a can for 4 pieces was a surprise that it could be so expensive and I had bought it as a gift for my Dad. But he is in his 90's and got too frail to cook so I did not give him the can. I made it the other night with Bok choy, scallops, ginger, garlic, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil then topped with green onion and it was to die for! Put some up in the freezer to share with him the next time I visit. Although it was expensive it became a "bucket list" delicacy to try. Tasted very much like a buttery tender clam, yummy!
