Its small enough to fit in shallow water but still functional. The flow rate is pretty decent with good power behind it. There is a grate at the intake that could probably afford to have a better screen to prevent clogs, however, this isnt an issue for me. The grate can be turned to increase or decrease the pressure of the flow but can probably help reduce clogs as well. The most I'd get that may get caught in there are some tiny root bits that may come off the plant during the process. Definitely manageable. It does slightly produce heat in the system but not enough to complain about. So far it's another great ac infinity product. We shall see how long it lasts. Way to go AC Infinity now we need the hydro sensor please I'd love to not have to buy another companies but it's getting hard to wait.
