It’s made well and takes a lot of rough handling from him. One of his favorites Review: NECA Delivers at a Reasonable Price, Yet Again - For reference I have the Monsterarts Shin Godzilla as a comparison. I would say this compares favorably to the Monsterarts, the sculpt is nice, not as good as the Monsterarts, but really good for NECA, the head could be better. Paint is more consistent, with the only flaw coming from the transition from the back dorsal spines to the tail, it goes from thick red/orange paint to like none at all, quite jarring. The tail sags a little from the weight, and the joints may be a little tight and could use some breaking in. Overall, I would put this up there with the '54 and '14 Godzilla figures in terms of overall quality. But no, jaw does not open and shut at all. But he is a beauty. The painting is pretty good and the sculpting is great.
