El cargador funciona de maravilla: carga las pilas en menos de 2 horas, mientras que otros modelos similares (y más baratos) tardan entre 5 y 6 horas en completar la carga. Es cierto que se calienta bastante durante el proceso, pero tras años de uso continuo, nunca he tenido ningún problema relacionado con el calor, ni he notado pérdida de capacidad en las pilas comparado con otros cargadores. Personalmente, creo que el calentamiento es parte normal del proceso de carga rápida. Innanzitutto la qualità costruttiva, il case è in alluminio, che ne conferisce un aspetto solido. Il display, che è una chicca in più per attirare l’attenzione, fornisce comunque molte informazioni sulla modalità e i dati di carica, grazie alle molte opzioni offerte dal menu di configurazione. Il caricabatterie non è fornito di alimentatore ma solo di cavo di alimentazione USB-C-USB-A. Alcuni riferiscono nelle recensioni che la ricarica è lenta: il caricabatterie si adatta alla potenza che ha a disposizione, non dipende da lui ma dalla potenza dell’alimentatore utilizzato! Faccio un esempio. Se voglio ricaricare una batteria AA ad 1A, impegnerò una potenza media di circa 1,3W. Se ne volessi caricare 8 contemporaneamente, mi servirebbero più di 10W. Se alimento il caricabatterie con un alimentatore da 5W (cioè quelli più diffusi, 5V, 1A) ovviamente non ce la farò mai… allora il caricabatterie ricaricherà con il massimo della potenza disponibile. È un po’ come caricare un’auto elettrica alla presa 230v del garage: l’auto si carica, ma non certo in mezz’ora! Premesso che ho usato il caricabatterie solo per batterie NiMh, sono molto soddisfatto delle potenzialità del caricabatterie. Molto versatile, attraverso il facile menù si può selezionare il tipo di carica, il tipo di batterie (Eneloop incluse) e la corrente di ricarica, in step di 100mA. Tra l’altro è stato in grado di ricaricare batterie estremamente scariche, aventi tensione ai capi di 0,2V, che il mio vecchio caricabatterie dava come guaste. Suggerisco caldamente di effettuare un aggiornamento al sito isdt prima di usare il caricabatterie. E’ in cinese e inglese, ma si arriva facilmente alla sezione di supporto. Infine il prezzo. È vero, costa tanto, si trovano facilmente prodotti a un terzo del prezzo di questo. Però questo N8 offre molta sostanza, oltre all’apparenza. E poi, offre la possibilità di regolare la corrente di ricarica, opzione fondamentale per preservare le batterie a lungo: più bassa è la corrente di ricarica e più si allunga la vita delle batterie! In conclusione, alla luce del prezzo è orientato a chi ha molte ricariche da effettuare.
