Review: awesome - I am knitting a colorwork with a cashmere ultra soft sock-weight yarn and a slightly fuzzy icelandic sock-weight yarn. It is gliding smoothly along the knitting needles and it's very nice and the durability is superb. I also like how the connecting part from the needle to the wire is slightly bent for a snag-free pleasant knitting experience. The material is well made. Sharpness of the needle is just right, but it doesn't hurt my fingers at all for such a thin needle. I bought this set because my wooden knitting needle broke and it's much better that the wooden one. My only concern was if it was going to be heavy, but it's so lightweight and comfortable. the wire is quite soft but not too soft. It holds the round shape but it does not have its own stubbornness, if you will. I also bought this in a different length already, and I just didn't return that one although I realized the length I needed was 32 inches. The size if not written on the needle so be careful not to lose the paper that has the size written. Not sure why it says on the back "other products in the addi range"... Is this addi?? I have no idea but it's a very affordable and nice addition to my knitting needle collection after I've been only purchasing interchangeable needle sets. I've been knitting for 30 years and I've tried so many different knitting needles. This one is truly great for beginners.
Review: These are 25-3/4" needles, NOT 24"! - These just arrived in the mail, and I haven't tried knitting with them yet. First of all, I ordered them partly because they advertised 24" needles. These are actually 25-3/4". That may not matter for most things, but for the knitting pattern I'm writing right now, the pattern relies for fit on the length of the needles, so using these as a measure for length, will get you something that doesn't fit right with that pattern. Aside from that, the points are a little more blunt than I usually like them, but still very nice. I can deal with it. Keep in mind that I am a very picky, experienced knitter. This is a very picky detail. The quality seems to be excellent, though. These would be a great way to get inexpensive needles for a beginner! The one other caveat I have, other than the length, is that the sizes are marked on the English scale, and you should get a PDF of the conversion of English sizes to standard US sizes to understand which size to use. A needle sizing gauge would also be useful, almost a necessity. They seem to be high quality. The cable bends easily enough to help you knit, and stitches should be able to be moved on the cable easily. The needles seem to be smooth and look like they'd be easy to knit with. As I said, I just opened the package. The straight part of the tip is 5" long, with a slightly bent part for a little extra length. The sewing needles will be pretty useless to most knitters. They're very small for knitting yarn. They might work with lace-weight yarn, possibly even sock yarn that's very lightweight. Considering the price, they are amazing! I would recommend them to any beginning knitter! There is nothing that would make it harder for a beginning knitter to learn on, and a lot that would be helpful! Edited to add: After knitting with one of them for a while, I seriously like these needles even more than I did before I tried them. If you're doing something that demands sharp points, the Chiaogoos or something from Knit Pro would be better, but these are absolutely amazing, especially for the price!

I am knitting a colorwork with a cashmere ultra soft sock-weight yarn and a slightly fuzzy icelandic sock-weight yarn. It is gliding smoothly along the knitting needles and it's very nice and the durability is superb. I also like how the connecting part from the needle to the wire is slightly bent for a snag-free pleasant knitting experience. The material is well made. Sharpness of the needle is just right, but it doesn't hurt my fingers at all for such a thin needle. I bought this set because my wooden knitting needle broke and it's much better that the wooden one. My only concern was if it was going to be heavy, but it's so lightweight and comfortable. the wire is quite soft but not too soft. It holds the round shape but it does not have its own stubbornness, if you will. I also bought this in a different length already, and I just didn't return that one although I realized the length I needed was 32 inches. The size if not written on the needle so be careful not to lose the paper that has the size written. Not sure why it says on the back "other products in the addi range"... Is this addi?? These just arrived in the mail, and I haven't tried knitting with them yet. First of all, I ordered them partly because they advertised 24" needles. These are actually 25-3/4". That may not matter for most things, but for the knitting pattern I'm writing right now, the pattern relies for fit on the length of the needles, so using these as a measure for length, will get you something that doesn't fit right with that pattern. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good needles

I wasn't looking for the best needles - I have many - but needed something I could give to my grandkids who have asked to learn to knit and the price was very good. I ordered the 24" needles (not long enough to do Magic Loop!) and am well pleased with them. However, it appears to be missing the 3.5mm (US4) needle and it has 3 of the US "0" needles - this is not a problem since it does say it has sizes 2.0 mm, 1.75mm, 1.5mm, which are essentially US "0" needles. I find the joins are good and are easy to knit with and I'm sure I will get a lot of good use with these needles.
