This was my second Tilley purchase after buying a LTM6 "nylamtium" hat from a retail outfitter. First impression is that I like this model better. It seems to breathe better in really hot weather (we've already had some days in the 90s here in April). The two-year insurance policy (don't forget to send in your registration) and the life-long promise to replace it if it ever wears out, coupled with its comfort, timeless stylishness, and all-around "coolness" are reasons why you will probably buy more than one after purchasing your first. One important point: Measure your head with a tape measure and then go to the Tilley website to see what size to order. I actually went one size larger (1/8th) than I normally wear...that made for a perfect fit. I made the mistake on the first hat of buying a 7 3/8, but all my Tilley's now are size 7 1/2 models. My youngest son inherited the smaller size...he says the girls love it.One nit-pick about the T4MO organic cotton model -- the fabric is so light that it doesn't stand as "taut" on your head as a T4 or LTM6, but it is by far the lightest and coolest to wear of the three Tilley styles. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best hat imaginable *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 9, 2014* My husband loves his Tilly hat. He is actually a very thrifty guy and had a hard time spending more than $10 for a hat, but once he owned his Tilley Endurable, he has said it is the only hat he will wear. Then tragedy struck - he lost his Tilley hat this winter and was close to crying! The condo that we were staying at in Florida actually threw it in their dumpster! Apparently , according to one of the other residents, he left it by the pool and the pool cleanup crew was told to toss everything that they found littering the pool area into the dumpster. When we finally found out the fate of his hat it almost spoiled our vacation. So, I just recently bought him a new Tilley Endurable in the same color and gave it to him as an early Father's day gift. Hard to find a wide brimmed hat for sun protection that doesn't make me look like a dork, but this one pulls it off! It provides excellent protection from the sun on these hot Phoenix summer days. I purchased this particular model (T4MO) because Tilley advises that this material (cotton) provided the best comfort in extremely hot weather, a possible tradeoff might be that the cotton is not as water resistant as the nylon of some of the other Tilley hats.
