Will this keep the door from getting pushed open and keep it from slamming shut?** A: I would be able to push door open. Wouldn't take much force. **Q: Will the screws work with a hollow door?** A: I would not use this on a hollow door, the wood on the door is too thin. Two issues we have had with it on a solid door. One, the foot is not very grippy, it slides on the hardwood floor. Second, it is not very easy to release. Wish we have not put it on the door. **Q: What is the pin diameter?** A: The entire unit is 1" and the pin is 1/4" **Q: how long is the door stop?
