I ordered this 4M/157inch Shower Strip to seal the gap between my bath and tiled wall. The old silicone sealant had become mouldy and was peeling away, causing leaks whenever the shower was in use. This shower strip has proven to be an excellent solution. Upon arrival, the strip was rolled up in a packet, which initially worried me as I expected a hard plastic material. However, it is a flexible silicone strip, making it highly adaptable and easy to work with. The quality is great and feels durable. Cutting the strip accurately was a bit tricky due to its flexibility. I did a few test cuts using a Stanley knife before making the final cut, and it worked out fine. The adhesive provided, however, is a waste of time in my opinion. It barely holds and is not suitable for creating a water-tight seal. If you’re only sticking the strip for aesthetics, it might work, but for preventing leaks, it’s ineffective.
