Review: Delighted with this SG Traders rotary washing line - I bought this to replace a rotary washing line that been used for 15 years or more that finally gave up the ghost with rust and the underground spike rotted away. This SG Traders rotary washing line seems just as sturdy as the old one, and I like the square arms instead of round ones. I also like the 4-way clip that the arms clip into when folded up - my old one didn't have that feature. I ordered a silver colour but got grey but liked that straightaway and, in fact, prefer it now. The spike is more solid and longer than the old one. The trigger release arm up and down is easy to use and made of plastic, so won't rot like the one on my previous line had. The 4 levels locking system doesn't work for me because on the first level, the washing line is tight enough, so that doesn't bother me either. Nice to have a cover for it when not in use. (And, as it happens, the large SG printed on it is my wife's initials, so she's happy!) I'm going to concrete in the spike this time, something I didn't do with the previous one. All in all, I can recommend this SG Traders rotary washing line, a fair price for good quality that looks like it could last a long time.

**Q: hello, does this come with a cap? My previous washing lines have had a black tube with cap that can go into the hole when not in use**
A: There is no cap when you remove line,put a round wooden plug into tube to stop dirt getting in.

**Q: I cannot get the slider on the pole up past the black clip so won't stay up.  Any suggestions?**
A: I had that problem but discovered a bit of the outside of washing line wasn't  in the right position so when I righted it it has been fine ever since.

**Q: Height from outside line to ground**
A: I don’t know the exact height but it’s not great, I returned mine as it’s quite flimsy I wouldn’t say it’s heavy duty.not great. I had to duck to get under and I’m 5’4 .
